Job Summary




  • We are a Truck dealership company with assembly line for Buses, Trucks and Trailers seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team for it's Lagos and Western operations.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales for the above mentioned, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. 

  • This role requires a deep understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development.



Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:




  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase heavy-duty truck sales.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging market trends.

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.



Client Relationship Management:




  • Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support.

  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.



Product Knowledge and Promotion:




  • Stay updated on product features, specifications, and industry advancements.

  • Educate clients on product benefits and recommend suitable truck models based on their needs.

  • Liaison with body builders in Lagos for 3rd party body building on company products.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies.



Sales Reporting and Targets:




  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.

  • Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.

  • Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.



Qualifications and Requirements




  • Proven experience in heavy-duty truck sales or a related automotive sales role.

  • Strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry and market dynamics.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5 years and above of industry experience

  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools

  • Engineering background is an added advantage.



Salary & Compensation




  • N400,000 monthly net.

  • Competitive base salary with attractive commission structure.
