Job Summary
- We are a Truck dealership company with assembly line for Buses, Trucks and Trailers seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team for it's Lagos and Western operations.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales for the above mentioned, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets.
- This role requires a deep understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to business development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase heavy-duty truck sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and emerging market trends.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Provide exceptional customer service and post-sales support.
- Address client inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:
- Stay updated on product features, specifications, and industry advancements.
- Educate clients on product benefits and recommend suitable truck models based on their needs.
- Liaison with body builders in Lagos for 3rd party body building on company products.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies.
Sales Reporting and Targets:
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics.
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Keep detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in heavy-duty truck sales or a related automotive sales role.
- Strong understanding of the heavy-duty truck industry and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years and above of industry experience
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools
- Engineering background is an added advantage.
Salary & Compensation
- N400,000 monthly net.
