Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial analysis, project accounting, cost accounting, and general ledger.
- The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with statutory requirements, while providing leadership to the finance team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial and cash flow analysis; prepare monthly reports.
- Maintain project accounting, including budget-to-actual statements.
- Manage general ledger, payroll reporting, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, and financial statements.
- Prepare budgets and ensure timely report submission.
- Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements (VAT, PAYE, etc.).
- Monitor cash flow and manage company finances.
- Collaborate with other departments to support decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
- Assist with audits and annual financial statement preparation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- ICAN certification required.
- Minimum of 7 years experience, with 3 years in a senior managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks etc).
- Strong financial acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.
