Key Responsibilities




  • Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and statements

  • Assess financing alternatives by considering risk, return, and market conditions

  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and budgets

  • Monitor the cash flow of the company to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet cash flow needs

  • Prepare analysis of financing needs for major capital equipment purchases, working capital, and other financing needs

  • Prepare and monitor the company's credit facility and develop Credit policies

  • Prepare periodic financial reports for the company

  • Engage supplier negotiations

  • Ensuring legal compliance of the organisation’s financial activities.

  • Producing financial projections based on data analysis.

  • Conducting regular financial audits to establish the organisation’s credibility and increase investor confidence.

  • Proactively implementing cost-cutting strategies as and when needed.

  • Monitor organizations performance

  • Supervise execution of financial processes

  • Developing financial and tax strategies that protect and optimise the company’s resources

  • Manage financial audits and work with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Oversee the accounting department and ensure that the financial records are accurate.

  • Manage relationships with banks, investors and other financial institutions to ensure that the company has access to the necessary capital to fund its operations.

  • Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, including sales, marketing and operations and help achieve their objectives.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

  • Experience with financial management software systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must live within the Lekki-Ajah-Sangotedo axis of Lagos State.
