Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:




  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

  • Identify and establish relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, cooperatives, and distributors.

  • Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and farmer training sessions.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with clients and distributors.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly.



Marketing & Promotion:




  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote agricultural products, such as fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and farm equipment.

  • Develop marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and social media content.

  • Organize and participate in agricultural trade fairs, exhibitions, and field days.

  • Maintain an active social media and digital presence for brand awareness.

  • Work with the research & development team to introduce innovative agricultural solutions to the market.



Customer Relationship Management:




  • Provide after-sales support and technical advice to customers.

  • Address customer queries and complaints effectively.

  • Build long-term relationships with clients to enhance customer loyalty.



Market Research & Reporting:




  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.

  • Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management.

  • Provide insights on customer preferences and industry trends.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, Agribusiness, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in agricultural sales & marketing preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of agriculture, crop production, fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.

  • A valid driver’s license is a plus.
