Job Summary




  • Our client, an accounting and tax firm, is looking for a detail-oriented Finance Manager to join their dynamic team. 

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, auditing, and accounting, with a preference for individuals who have worked at a Big Four firm for at least four years or a second-tier audit firm for at least six years.



Key Responsibilities




  • Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal financial policies.

  • Make recommendations on cash flow, working capital, and financial controls.

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management of clients for strategic decision-making.

  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their external auditors, and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of management accounts/ unaudited financial statements, tax returns, and other regulatory reports.

  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks to manage financial data efficiently.

  • Prepare and deliver financial presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting.



Key Requirements




  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Chartered Accountant (ICAN or ACCA), with ACCA preferred.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience at a Big Four audit firm or at least 5 years at a second-tier audit firm.

  • Proven expertise in financial management, reporting, and compliance.

  • Strong people management and leadership skills.

  • Excellent client management and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Hands-on experience using Sage or QuickBooks accounting software.

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
