Summary




  • The Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty. 

  • This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and community management.



Responsibilities




  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals.

  • Create and maintain a social media calendar, scheduling posts and campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube).

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.

  • Create engaging and visually appealing content, including text, images, videos, and stories.

  • Develop content that showcases our dairy products, highlights their nutritional benefits, and promotes healthy living.

  • Monitor social media channels and engage with followers through comments, messages, and mentions.

  • Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns promptly and professionally.

  • Foster a positive and interactive online community.

  • Monitor social listening, and be aware of brand mentions.

  • Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Generate regular reports on social media activity, engagement, and reach.

  • Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote new products, events, and promotions.

  • Manage social media advertising budgets and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.

  • Work to increase brand awareness of the companies products, and the company as a whole.

  • Help to form a positive image of the company online.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 2 - 3 years work experience.

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Officer or similar role.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.

  • Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design and video editing software.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Creative and innovative mindset.

  • Experience with photography and videography is a plus.

  • Experience with social media advertising.
