The Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
This role requires a creative individual with a strong understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and community management.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company's marketing goals.
Create and maintain a social media calendar, scheduling posts and campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube).
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
Create engaging and visually appealing content, including text, images, videos, and stories.
Develop content that showcases our dairy products, highlights their nutritional benefits, and promotes healthy living.
Monitor social media channels and engage with followers through comments, messages, and mentions.
Respond to customer inquiries and address any concerns promptly and professionally.
Foster a positive and interactive online community.
Monitor social listening, and be aware of brand mentions.
Track and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.
Generate regular reports on social media activity, engagement, and reach.
Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote new products, events, and promotions.
Manage social media advertising budgets and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
Work to increase brand awareness of the companies products, and the company as a whole.
Help to form a positive image of the company online.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 2 - 3 years work experience.
Proven experience as a Social Media Officer or similar role.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Ability to create visually appealing content using graphic design and video editing software.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Creative and innovative mindset.
Experience with photography and videography is a plus.
