What you'll do

Sales & Revenue Growth:




  • As a Technology Sales Representative, you'll drive new business by proactively identifying and pursuing leads through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and partnerships. 

  • Using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, you'll manage a strong sales pipeline while consistently exceeding targets. Your focus will be closing deals on VoIP services, UCaaS platforms, cloud telephony, and 0700/0800 toll-free solutions. 

  • You'll craft tailored proposals and pricing models to showcase the value of our offerings, ensuring a compelling case for partnership.



Solution Selling & Customer Engagement:




  • You will engage in consultative sales discussions to understand each client’s unique challenges in voice communications, team collaboration, and customer engagement. Leveraging your expertise, you’ll guide businesses toward optimal solutions from our portfolio, delivering compelling product presentations and tailored demos. 

  • These will showcase key offerings such as enterprise-grade Cloud PBX systems, flexible SIP trunking, and advanced call center technologies that enhance operational efficiency. 

  • You’ll highlight seamless Unified Communications integrations with Microsoft Teams, Zoom Phone, emphasizing productivity and connectivity benefits. 

  • Additionally, you’ll demonstrate the value of our 0700/0800 toll-free number services, illustrating how they enhance brand perception and customer accessibility.



Market & Competitive Intelligence:




  • You will continuously monitor evolving industry trends—including advancements in AI-powered Unified Communications, the shift toward cloud migration, and the growing demand for toll-free number solutions (0700/0800). 

  • By conducting thorough competitor analysis, you will identify gaps in the market and refine our sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge. 

  • Additionally, you will serve as a critical liaison between sales and other departments, providing actionable feedback to our product and marketing teams to optimize messaging, positioning, and feature development based on real-time market insights and customer needs.



Relationship Management & Upselling:




  • You will be responsible for nurturing long-term client relationships through proactive engagement, including regular check-ins and strategic account reviews. 

  • By maintaining open lines of communication and understanding evolving business needs, you will position yourself as a trusted advisor. 

  • A key focus will be identifying and capitalizing on upsell and cross-sell opportunities—such as expanding UC licenses, adding premium toll-free numbers (0700/0800), or introducing complementary cloud communication solutions—to drive incremental revenue while delivering greater value to clients.



Reporting & Collaboration: 




  • You will maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts in our CRM system to ensure transparent tracking of all sales activities. 

  • Your meticulous documentation will help drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. 

  • Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing teams to optimize lead generation campaigns, coordinate with support teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding, and work closely with product teams to provide valuable customer feedback that shapes future solutions.



Qualifications & Requirements

Educational Background:




  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Second Class Upper) or Higher National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field is required. Strong academic performance reflects a solid foundation in technology, sales principles, and customer relationship management.



Professional Certifications:




  • Possession of professional certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or related certification is an added advantage.



Work Experience:




  • Candidates must have 2–5 years of experience in B2B technology sales, ideally in VoIP, Unified Communications (UCaaS), cloud telephony, or telecom solutions. 

  • A proven track record of selling to enterprises, call centers, or IT decision-makers is highly preferred.



Technical & Analytical Skills:




  • Proficient in CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot, as well as sales engagement platforms. 

  • Possesses strong technical expertise in VoIP, SIP trunking, cloud PBX, and Unified Communications platforms, including Microsoft Teams and Zoom Phone. 

  • Well-versed in toll-free number services (0700/0800) and skilled in managing high-value sales pipelines while consistently exceeding targets.



Industry Knowledge & Compliance:




  • Deep expertise in cloud communications trends, UCaaS market dynamics, and the competitive landscape, coupled with a sharp understanding of customer needs across industries such as call centers, fintech, healthcare, and e-commerce.
