  • We are seeking a dynamic and experiencedArea Sales Managerwith a strong background in thelubricants industry. 

  • The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor/retail networks, developing new markets, and ensuring customer satisfaction within the assigned territory.



Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution:




  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Plan and implement sales strategies to increase market share in the assigned area.

  • Monitor competitor activity and adjust tactics accordingly.



Channel Management:




  • Manage and expand the distributor and dealer network.

  • Support partners with training, promotional schemes, and technical support.

  • Ensure proper stock levels and timely order fulfillment.



Customer Relationship Management:




  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, workshops, and OEMs.

  • Address customer queries, complaints, and feedback effectively.



Market Development:




  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail, B2B, transport, industrial, or agri segments.

  • Conduct regular market visits and trade meets to drive brand visibility.



Reporting & Analysis:




  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights.

  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and growth opportunities.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.

  • MBA preferred but not mandatory.

  • 3 - 6 years of relevant experience inlubricant sales(automotive or industrial).

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong network in the local lubricant market.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
