Key Responsibilities




  • Provide first-line mental health support through phone conversations, active listening, and appropriate interventions.

  • Conduct psychological first aid and offer guidance tailored to the caller’s challenges.

  • Identify high-risk situations and escalate to licensed professionals or emergency services when necessary.

  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation of each interaction.

  • Collaborate with supervisors and a team of licensed professionals to ensure quality service delivery.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, or a related field (mandatory).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental demeanor.

  • Ability to handle sensitive conversations with professionalism and care.

  • Previous experience in mental health support, crisis response, or social work is an added advantage.

  • Must be computer-literate and comfortable using call center software (training provided).
