Job Description




  • The Field Support Officer will be responsible for coordinating and supporting field operations for the medical sales team. 

  • The position ensures seamless communication between the office and Medical Sales Representatives (MSRs). 

  • The Field Support Officer will also assist with territory-level logistics, track sales data, and support daily commercial operations. 

  • The ideal candidate MUST have experience in the pharmaceutical sales industry, either in administration, or as a medical sales representative.



Key Responsibilities




  • Act as a liaison between the office and the field sales team (MSRs), ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.

  • Support the onboarding and induction of new MSRs by coordinating training schedules, materials, and territory handovers.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and generating reports.

  • Assist in planning and organizing field activities.

  • Track field force coverage, product availability, and customer engagement efforts.

  • Manage documentation related to sales visits, expense claims, and sample distribution compliance.



Qualifications

Education:




  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), B.Sc. in Biochemistry, B.Sc. in Microbiology

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an added advantage



Additional Qualification:




  • Sales Operations, CRM Tools, or Customer Relationship Management

  • Microsoft Office Suite or ERP/CRM systems

  • Project Management or Operations Management



Experience:




  • 5 - 10 years experience as a medical sales representative or area sales manager

  • Strong knowledge of medical products, pharmaceutical regulations, and healthcare industry practices will be an added advantage.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales and administration.
