Job Summary




  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Officer to join our team at Ninestars Limited. 

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our real estate transactions, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing legal documentation, and supporting the firm’s operations from a legal perspective.



Key Responsibilities




  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, lease documents, MoUs, and other legal instruments related to property transactions.

  • Ensure all real estate deals comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

  • Conduct legal due diligence on property titles, ownership, encumbrances, and zoning.

  • Liaise with external legal counsel, government bodies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders as needed.

  • Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, joint ventures, and project development.

  • Monitor changes in relevant legislation and regulatory environment and assess the impact on the business.

  • Manage legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential liabilities.

  • Handle legal disputes and litigation related to property matters, including representation in court where necessary.

  • Maintain accurate records of all legal documents and ensure proper filing and tracking.

  • Support compliance with internal governance, policies, and risk management frameworks.



Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B); a Master’s Degree or further legal qualifications are an advantage.

  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing with the relevant legal authority.

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar legal role, preferably within the real estate or property development sector.

  • Strong knowledge of property law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
