Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Accountant to oversee and manage the financial activities across all restaurant outlets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, inventory management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position requires hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide actionable insights to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for all outlets.
- Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Monitor and analyze restaurant costs, including food, labor, and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Control inventory levels across outlets, ensuring optimal stock and minimal waste.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Deliver timely and insightful financial reports to aid management decision-making.
- Prepare and submit weekly financial and operational reports.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of physical stock and validate stock valuation.
- Collate and verify daily sales and receipts from all outlets.
- Post daily outlet transactions and tellers into the accounting system.
- Process weekly payments for outlets and handle vendor reconciliations.
- Review and verify petty cash usage, ensuring accurate retirement and reimbursement.
- Supervise and train junior accounting staff as required.
- Drive and implement cost-saving initiatives across operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of inventory and manufacturing accounting processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, ERP, or Odoo.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
