Job Summary:



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Accountant to oversee and manage the financial activities across all restaurant outlets. The ideal candidate will play a key role in budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, inventory management, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position requires hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, strong analytical skills, and the ability to provide actionable insights to support business operations.



Reporting Line: Management Accountant



Salary: 200,000 (Net, Monthly)

Work Mode: Onsite (6 days)



Key Responsibilities




  1. Prepare and review accurate financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports for all outlets.

  2. Assist in developing budgets and financial forecasts to support strategic planning.

  3. Monitor and analyze restaurant costs, including food, labor, and overhead, to identify opportunities for cost reduction.

  4. Control inventory levels across outlets, ensuring optimal stock and minimal waste.

  5. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

  6. Deliver timely and insightful financial reports to aid management decision-making.

  7. Prepare and submit weekly financial and operational reports.

  8. Conduct monthly reconciliation of physical stock and validate stock valuation.

  9. Collate and verify daily sales and receipts from all outlets.

  10. Post daily outlet transactions and tellers into the accounting system.

  11. Process weekly payments for outlets and handle vendor reconciliations.

  12. Review and verify petty cash usage, ensuring accurate retirement and reimbursement.

  13. Supervise and train junior accounting staff as required.

  14. Drive and implement cost-saving initiatives across operations.

  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager.



Qualifications




  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  2. Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.

  3. In-depth knowledge of inventory and manufacturing accounting processes.

  4. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, ERP, or Odoo.

  5. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

  6. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

  7. Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
