About the Role

• We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable farm committed to sustainable agriculture and operational efficiency. We are seeking a skilled and trustworthy Internal Auditor to assess and strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and support financial accountability across the farm’s operations.

Job Description

• Conduct regular audits of the farm’s financial records, inventory, payroll, and procurement processes


• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal policies, and industry standards


• Perform physical verification of stock, equipment, and assets


• Prepare and present detailed audit reports with actionable recommendations


• Monitor the implementation of audit findings and corrective actions


• Collaborate with relevant departments to promote transparency and efficiency

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline


• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage


• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in internal auditing, preferably in an agribusiness or similar setting


• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing procedures in a farm setting is desirable.


• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills


• High level of integrity and attention to detail


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools


• Familiarity with farm operations is a plus
