About the Role
- As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and oversight of water and wastewater treatment systems.
- This role involves applying engineering principles to improve water quality, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and contributing to sustainable water resource management.
- You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective and efficient treatment solutions that support public health and environmental protection.
Water Treatment Engineer Requirements
Education:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Water Resources, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited institution.
Experience:
- Relevant experience in water and wastewater engineering, preferably in designing and constructing treatment systems.
License:
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- You should also have a genuine knowledge and interest in the water industry and environmental issues.
Software proficiency:
- Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, hydraulic modeling software, and data analysis tools.
Environmental regulations:
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and water and wastewater treatment facility permit requirements.
