ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within assigned channels and territory.
- Visit assigned outlets regularly, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Support the recruitment and performance monitoring of distributors and retail partners.
- Ensure product visibility through strategic placement of POS materials and display standards.
- Execute trade and channel marketing initiatives in assigned territory.
- Gather and report market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing, and trends.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Ensure correct stock rotation (FIFO) and adequate stock levels at retail outlets.
- Prepare and submit accurate daily sales reports and feedback on activities.
- Collaborate with Van Sales Reps (VSRs) and merchandisers to drive performance and achieve set KPIs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Minimum of OND or HND/B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
Work Experience:
- 2–3 years proven experience in field sales within the FMCG industry.
- Experience in Open Markets, HoReCa, and retail outlets within Lagos or South West Nigeria is essential.
- Previous experience in beverage or juice segment is an added advantage.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of the local market and customer segments.
- Ability to analyze sales trends and generate actionable insights.
- Sound knowledge of sales tools, routing, and reporting.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word).
