Job Summary




  • We are looking for a qualified AC Technician to join our maintenance team in a steel manufacturing environment.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of air conditioning systems and related HVAC equipment across the facility.

  • You will play a key role in ensuring comfortable and safe working conditions for all plant and office areas.



Key Responsibilities




  • Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, ventilation units, and HVAC components.

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all cooling systems in production areas, control rooms, offices, and other facility zones.

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC systems and carry out necessary repairs.

  • Monitor performance and adjust settings for temperature control, airflow, and humidity levels.

  • Ensure the proper functioning of chillers, compressors, condensers, and refrigerant systems.

  • Maintain logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and refrigerant usage in line with safety and environmental regulations.

  • Respond promptly to AC-related breakdowns and emergency repair calls.

  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and building maintenance teams for integrated facility support.

  • Comply with all health and safety regulations and internal procedures.



Requirements




  • Technical certification or diploma in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or HVAC systems.

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an AC Technician, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.

  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles, electrical systems, and HVAC troubleshooting.

  • Ability to read technical diagrams, blueprints, and system manuals.

  • Familiarity with safety practices and environmental standards related to refrigerants and HVAC equipment.

  • Physically fit and able to work in high-temperature environments and elevated areas when required.
