Responsibilities
IT System Installation and Maintenance:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and regular maintenance of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Ensure that all IT systems are operating efficiently and in accordance with industry standards.
Data Security Management:
Implement and enforce best practices for data security, ensuring that sensitive client information and internal data are well protected.
Manage firewalls, antivirus, and other cybersecurity tools to safeguard the firm’s IT infrastructure from external threats.
Ensuring data security by implementing best practices and securing networks.
Conduct regular security audits and ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations.
Technical Support:
Provide technical support to staff members, troubleshooting hardware and software issues as they arise.
Ensure all users are trained and equipped to use the technology effectively and efficiently.
Offer guidance on resolving IT issues and ensure minimal downtime for staff.
Technology Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the management and maintenance of the firm’s network infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of communication systems and file sharing platforms.
Managing firm-wide technology infrastructure, ensuring all systems are running smoothly.
Manage email systems, VPNs, and collaboration tools to support seamless communication and operations.
Document and Case Management Systems:
Implement, update, and maintain document management and case management systems, ensuring they are user-friendly and compliant with legal standards.
Provide training and support to staff in using these systems effectively.
Alignment with Business Goals:
Ensure that the firm’s technology strategy is aligned with its business goals, providing the necessary technological infrastructure to support firm growth.
Collaborate with senior management to understand the firm's needs and recommend technology solutions that can drive efficiency and improve service delivery.
Stay Up-to-Date with Technology Trends:
Continuously research and stay up to date with the latest technology trends, tools, and solutions that can benefit the firm.
Recommend new systems or upgrades to improve operational efficiencies, productivity, and business operations.
Staying up to date with technology trends and recommending improvements or new systems.
Backup and Disaster Recovery:
Oversee the firm's backup and disaster recovery processes, ensuring regular data backups and the ability to restore systems quickly in the event of an IT failure or breach.
Test disaster recovery procedures regularly to ensure the firm can resume normal operations without significant downtime.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with 3 - 6 years of experience.
