We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, and experienced IT Specialist to oversee and manage the full scope of our hotel’s IT infrastructure and systems. This role is central to ensuring our operations run smoothly, securely, and efficiently across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, networks, printers, and software applications.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights using tools like Google Workspace Admin.
Ensure the security, privacy, and integrity of systems through firewalls, antivirus, VPN, and backup strategies.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues across departments promptly.
Maintain and manage Wi-Fi networks, POS systems, and smart hotel tech integrations.
Plan and implement regular system upgrades, patch updates, and preventive maintenance.
Monitor system performance and uptime using diagnostic tools and logs.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and asset inventory.
Liaise with vendors and service providers on repairs, procurement, and support.
Provide day-to-day IT support to hotel staff (ED, OPM, front desk, admin, kitchen systems, etc.).
Assist with basic CCTV, biometric, and access control systems.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
At least 2–3 years of practical experience in a similar role (hospitality industry is an advantage).
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), printers, routers, and Microsoft Office 365.
Familiarity with email hosting, backup systems, remote support tools, and cloud services.
Hands-on experience with network cabling, CCTV, or hotel PMS systems is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, documentation, and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills – able to explain technical terms in simple language.
