Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Maintenance:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components, piping systems, and utility equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, leaks, or potential failures.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of utility systems.
Troubleshooting & Repairs:
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.
- Replace defective parts and ensure proper alignment of mechanical systems.
- Work with engineers and technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.
Operational Coordination:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage.
- Assist in procurement of spare parts and tools required for repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical fitting, utility maintenance, or industrial equipment handling.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and utility equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
