Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance:




  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components, piping systems, and utility equipment.

  • Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, leaks, or potential failures.

  • Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of utility systems.



Troubleshooting & Repairs:




  • Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs.

  • Replace defective parts and ensure proper alignment of mechanical systems.

  • Work with engineers and technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.



Safety & Compliance:




  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to prevent accidents.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and environmental regulations.

  • Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.



Operational Coordination:




  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment usage.

  • Assist in procurement of spare parts and tools required for repairs.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical fitting, utility maintenance, or industrial equipment handling.



Skills & Competencies:




  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and utility equipment.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.

  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills.
