ACCOUNTABILITIES 




  • Take full ownership of the revenue targets for the cluster, ensuring that each branch/location within the cluster meets or exceeds its sales goals. Develop strategies to drive sales performance and increase profitability across the cluster. 

  • Manage the cluster’s overall budget, including setting sales budgets for each location, controlling operational expenses, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to maximize ROI. 

  • Continuously monitor sales performance and profitability across different products, services, and customer segments. Identify areas to optimize margins and implement corrective actions to improve financial performance. 

  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, based on market analysis, historical data, and customer insights. Collaborate with finance and upper management to set realistic sales targets and ensure alignment with the company’s overall financial goals. 

  • Develop and execute effective customer acquisition strategies to expand the cluster’s client base, including targeting new markets and untapped customer segments. 

  • Foster long-term relationships with key clients and high-value customers within the cluster. Implement customer retention initiatives that focus on loyalty, personalized service, and addressing pain points. 

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify service gaps, areas for improvement, and new opportunities. Work closely with sales teams to resolve customer issues promptly and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. 

  • Identify different customer segments and tailor sales strategies to meet their specific needs, preferences, and purchasing behaviors. Develop bespoke offers and solutions to enhance value for key accounts. 

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day sales operations of the cluster, ensuring that all locations are operating efficiently, following best practices, and adhering to company sales protocols. 

  • Continuously review and improve sales processes within the cluster to ensure operational efficiency. Streamline lead management, sales pipelines, and after-sales support to reduce friction and accelerate deal closure. 

  • Work closely with other functional areas such as marketing, product development, finance, and logistics to ensure cohesive and efficient operations that support the sales strategy. 

  • Generate and present regular reports on sales performance, trends, and market insights. Use data-driven approaches to identify risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights to the area sales manager and senior leadership. 

  • Lead and manage sales teams across the cluster, providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance. Focus on building high-performing teams by ensuring continuous learning and professional development. 

  • Work closely with HR to recruit, train, and retain top sales talent. Foster a motivating environment where team members feel valued, engaged, and driven to meet their targets. 

  • Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs for sales teams. Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and development plans to help team members achieve their goals. 

  • Ensure that the cluster’s sales teams are equipped with the right tools, such as CRM software, to track sales activity, monitor customer interactions, and maintain a robust pipeline. Identify new technology or process enhancements to increase productivity.
