About the Role




  • The Finance Associate will support our global financial operations by ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash flow management, and compliance with tax regulations. 

  • This role requires expertise in accounting software, financial forecasting, expense management, and investor reporting.

  • As a key member of the finance team, you will collaborate with accountants, tax consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders to maintain financial accuracy and transparency.



Key Responsibilities

Financial Analysis & Reporting:




  • Prepare and present monthly variance reports to senior stakeholders.

  • Conduct financial trend analysis to identify anomalies and risks.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial productivity.

  • Generate quarterly and annual investor reports and financial statements.



Accounting & Reconciliation:




  • Oversee monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and tax calculations with accountants and auditors.

  • Execute month-end closing activities and generate weekly management dashboards.

  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing using Bento.

  • Maintain accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) schedules.



Expense & Cash Flow Management:




  • Process expense reimbursement requests, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Monitor outstanding payments from buyers and coordinate with the credit recovery team.

  • Ensure timely payment of operational expenses (e.g., rent, services).

  • Establish efficient pricing and revenue models in collaboration with stakeholders.



Regulatory Compliance & Audit:




  • Guarantee timely regulatory filings using tax portals like E-tax & Tax Pro Max.

  • Maintain financial documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Oversee compliance with PAYE, WHT, VAT, and corporate tax regulations.

  • Accounti ommunication Tools: Email & shared financial storage systems.



What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:




  • BA/BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or operational finance.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax regulations.



Technical & Soft Skills:




  • Proficiency in Accounting Software (QuickBooks, Xero, or TYMS).

  • Understanding of Payroll Systems & Tax Compliance.

  • Data Analysis & Financial Modeling for forecasting and variance reporting.

  • Excellent communication & stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Attention to detail & problem-solving mindset.
