- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- ·Develop and manage budgets and forecasts in collaboration with departmental heads.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and other financial statutory requirements (e.g., VAT, PAYE, and income tax).
- Oversee internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations and record keeping.
- Implement internal control systems and ensure proper documentation and record keeping.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies.
- Supervise and train accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting leadership roles.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary
- N300,000 - N500,000 per month.
