We are seeking a highly organised, dedicated, and professional Personal Assistant to support the Senior Cleric in his duties within the Anglican Church.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Bishop, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities.
Manage and maintain the SeniorCleric calendar, including scheduling meetings, events, and appointments.
Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and letters, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
Assistancewith the preparing and organising of church services, meetings, and special events.
Maintain confidential records and documents related to the Senior Cleric’s role.
Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics as required.
Qualifications
He must be an Anglican
Preferably of Yoruba descent.
Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar administrative role.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with the Anglican faith
Proficiency in office software, including Word, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and email management.
A calm, professional demeanour and the ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes demanding environment.
Desirable Skills:
Experience in a church or faith-based organisation.
Knowledge of Anglican liturgical practices and terminology.
A caring and compassionate approach to pastoral responsibilities.
