Job Overview




  • We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE Coordinator to join their team in Victoria Island.

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the company’s internal standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.

  • Lead safety training and awareness programs for staff and contractors.

  • Monitor and report on HSE performance and compliance.

  • Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies on HSE matters.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices.



Requirements




  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant HSE experience in the Oil & Gas sector (Upstream preferred).

  • Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent).

  • In-depth knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
