Role Overview
- The Manager, People & Culture will lead talent acquisition, HR policies, and staff engagement, aligning these efforts with operational excellence. You will be a pivotal force in nurturing an energetic, high-performance culture, ensuring Ingenium attracts, develops, and supports its best talent all within a fast-paced, start‑up mindset environment. You will also help drive operational efficiency, making sure we do more with less by being frugal, a sharp negotiator, and highly resourceful.
Key Responsibilities
People & Culture -
- Lead the full employee lifecycle from hiring and onboarding to performance management and retention.
- Develop and implement HR policies and best practices that support company objectives.
- Champion staff engagement, cultivating a collaborative, high-performance, and results-focused culture.
- Partner with senior leadership to embed a dynamic, ambitious, and results-driven work environment.
Operations & General Services -
- Maintain seamless office operations, ensuring a productive, safe, and compliant environment.
- Leverage frugality and strong negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and procurement effectively.
- Support internal meetings, staff events, and team engagement activities.
- Maintain HR and operational documentation, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
General Management
- Support the MD and COO with resource planning and organisational effectiveness.
- Maintain and review departmental KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
- Identify and implement policies and processes that streamline company operations and enable scalability and excellence.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 4+ years in HR, People Operations, or Office Operations, preferably in a marketing, creative, or fast‑paced start‑up environment.
- People Focused: Skilled at working with a youthful, ambitious, upwardly mobile team.
- Negotiation & Frugality: Strong ability to secure the best value for the company and operate efficiently.
- Tech Proficiency: Skilled with HR platforms, project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack), and MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Initiative: A proactive, adaptable, and solution-driven mindset.
- Detail Orientation: Skilled at managing multiple priorities with precision and efficiency.
