Job Description
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Team Lead to join our growing sales department. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in sales, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales performance within a team. The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for guiding, mentoring, and developing a team of sales representatives, while also driving sales targets and initiatives to achieve organizational objectives
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Provide continuous training, coaching, and support to team members to develop their sales skills and product knowledge.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Build and manage all stages of sales pipeline to consistently achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets (prospecting through to deal closing).
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, social media, networking, and attending industry events.
- Attend all daily, weekly, and/or monthly sales meetings as applicable.
- Participate in any other departmental or cross-departmental project or assignment as needed.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
- Help achieve maximum sales profitability, market penetration, and growth within the target market audience.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target industries.
- Plan, execute, and document sales steps utilizing CRM tools.
REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Admin, or a related field.
- Proven experience (min 10years) in marketing, sales, or related roles, with a focus on SME, SMB, and SMC clients.
- Strong knowledge of sales, business development, and client management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work with large datasets and perform complex sales analyses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other sales analysis tools.
