Job Summary




  • We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of our organization in Bauchi State.

  • The successful candidate will assist with financial documentation, reporting, transaction processing, and compliance with internal and donor financial regulations.



Key Responsibilities




  • Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including payment vouchers, receipts, and petty cash.

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and support audit processes.

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and donor requirements.

  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager, including procurement documentation and vendor payments.

  • Track budget expenditure against project funds and report variances.

  • Ensure proper filing of financial and administrative documents.



Qualifications & Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the NGO sector.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is an added advantage.

  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Willingness to relocate and live in Bauchi State throughout the duration of the role.
