Job Summary
- We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Associate to support the day-to-day financial operations of our organization in Bauchi State.
- The successful candidate will assist with financial documentation, reporting, transaction processing, and compliance with internal and donor financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including payment vouchers, receipts, and petty cash.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and support audit processes.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with organizational financial policies and donor requirements.
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Manager, including procurement documentation and vendor payments.
- Track budget expenditure against project funds and report variances.
- Ensure proper filing of financial and administrative documents.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the NGO sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) is an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate and live in Bauchi State throughout the duration of the role.
