Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month-end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, inventory roll forwards, and fixed assets and margin analysis; prepare supporting schedules for financial statements preparation.
Review, analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing quarterly reports for management
Overseeing accounting processes
Developing budgets and financial plans
Monitor and review all records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions
Serve as company liaison with auditors.
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Requirements
Post-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
5 - 7years of accounting experience in an oil and gas company or other related companies
Proficient using MS Word (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as applicable accounting software
Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles, including application of general accounting theory.
Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work and interact with departments and client organizations.
