Responsibilities




  • Prepare audited financial reports

  • Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month-end closing, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, inventory roll forwards, and fixed assets and margin analysis; prepare supporting schedules for financial statements preparation.

  • Review, analyse and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions in conjunction with preparing quarterly reports for management

  • Overseeing accounting processes

  • Developing budgets and financial plans

  • Monitor and review all records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions

  • Serve as company liaison with auditors.

  • Ensuring regulatory compliance



Requirements




  • Post-Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

  • 5 - 7years of accounting experience in an oil and gas company or other related companies

  • Proficient using MS Word (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as applicable accounting software

  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles, including application of general accounting theory.

  • Strong leadership and proven supervisory skills

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work and interact with departments and client organizations.
