Job Summary




  • Our client is seeking an experienced and highly competent Finance/Administrative Manager to oversee all its financial and administrative operations.

  • The Finance/Administrative Manager will be responsible for developing budgeting, financial reporting, payroll management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • The role holder will also oversee procurement, vendor management, and office administration.

  • The Finance/Administrative Manager will act as a key representative of the company in professional settings, including meetings with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.



Role Responsibilities




  • Lead the development and monitoring of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow plans.

  • Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management, board, and external stakeholders.

  • Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory deductions.

  • Ensure tax compliance and timely submission of statutory filings (e.g., VAT, PAYE, corporate tax).

  • Manage procurement processes and maintain vendor relationships.

  • Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide financial insights and data to support leadership decision-making.

  • Represent the company in external meetings with partners, regulators, and other stakeholders.



Person Specifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree (BSc or BA) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field from a reputable university or polytechnic.

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in finance or administration, preferably in the energy or renewable power sector.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and financial management software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, and able to work independently.

  • Trustworthy, organized, and proficient in written and verbal communication.
