Job Summary




  • The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximise profitability and market share while ensuring competitive positioning in the beverage industry.

  • The role involves in-depth data analysis, market research, competitor benchmarking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive informed pricing decisions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Analyse pricing data and evaluate the impact of pricing strategies on sales, profitability, and customer behaviour.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and consumer demand to identify opportunities for price adjustments.

  • Develop dynamic pricing models that respond to changes in market conditions and input costs.

  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and finance teams to recommend and execute optimal pricing strategies.

  • Conduct margin analysis and support pricing decisions across product lines and channels (distributors, supermarkets, horeca, etc.).

  • Evaluate promotional pricing effectiveness and suggest pricing tactics for new product launches.

  • Generate regular pricing performance reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.

  • Ensure pricing policies are aligned with the company’s strategic and financial goals.

  • Recommend improvements in processes to enhance pricing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting exercises with relevant pricing inputs.



Key Requirements




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, revenue management, or a similar role.

  • Experience in the FMCG or beverage industry is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and pricing software is an added advantage.

  • Ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure. Key Competencies:
