Job Summary
- Our client is seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to fill the position of Value Chain Manager.
- This role is responsible for overseeing the entire value chain process, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and risk mitigation, to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for the company’s value chain in alignment with overall business goals.
- Manage sourcing and procurement functions, including supplier selection and contract negotiation.
- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials to support uninterrupted production.
- Optimize inventory levels to balance availability, cost, and space efficiency.
- Oversee logistics and distribution operations, including warehousing and transportation.
- Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Economics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- 10–12 years of relevant experience in supply chain or value chain roles, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Navision or other ERP systems.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
