We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance, supporting tax audits, and driving tax planning strategies in a dynamic Oil & Gas environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and file corporate tax returns (CIT, WHT, VAT, etc.) in line with local and international tax laws.
Manage end-to-end tax provision and compliance processes.
Handle tax audits and resolve issues with regulatory bodies.
Advise on tax implications related to operational activities and investments.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws relevant to the oil & gas industry.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams on transfer pricing and tax strategies.
Ensure timely reconciliation of tax accounts and reporting according to IFRS.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CITN) is required.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in tax accounting, preferably in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector.
Strong knowledge of upstream and downstream oil & gas tax regulations.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills, communication abilities, and stakeholder management.
