Attend customer premises to install and configure internet and network equipment.
Follow technical specifications and procedures to ensure proper installation and performance.
Test and verify installed services to meet quality, speed, and reliability standards.
Educate customers on equipment usage, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve network or equipment faults, ensuring timely issue resolution.
Work with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and customer feedback.
Communicate clearly with customers to ensure a positive service experience.
Recommend improvements or upgrades to customers based on their needs.
Ensure all work complies with company standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic quality checks and stay updated with industry best practices.
Requirements
Candidates should possess a High school Diploma or equivalent technical certifications or a degree in a relevant field is an added advantage with 3 years experience.
Proven experience in network installations within an ISP or telecommunications environment
Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and devices (routers, switches, modems, etc.)
Skilled in diagnosing and resolving connectivity or equipment issues
Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and network diagnostic tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in field conditions
Physical ability to lift and install networking equipment
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations.
