Job Description




  • The Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and facilities.

  • This role involves supervising a team of security officers, managing incident responses, enforcing policies and procedures, and coordinating with management and external stakeholders to maintain a secure environment.



Key Responsibilities




  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel on assigned shifts.

  • Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and respond to incidents promptly.

  • Ensure proper implementation of all security policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • Conduct regular security inspections and audits to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

  • Train, coach, and evaluate performance of security staff.

  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and investigations.

  • Manage shift schedules, attendance, and coverage to ensure continuous protection.

  • Respond to and investigate security breaches, alarms, and emergencies.



Requirements

Education Requirements:





  • OND / HND / BSc Degree in Security Management, Criminology or related / Certified Courses





Experience




  • 3 - 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

  • Experience in incident response, report writing, and team supervision.
