- The Security Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety and protection of personnel, assets, and facilities.
- This role involves supervising a team of security officers, managing incident responses, enforcing policies and procedures, and coordinating with management and external stakeholders to maintain a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of security personnel on assigned shifts.
- Monitor security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and respond to incidents promptly.
- Ensure proper implementation of all security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Conduct regular security inspections and audits to assess vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Train, coach, and evaluate performance of security staff.
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and investigations.
- Manage shift schedules, attendance, and coverage to ensure continuous protection.
- Respond to and investigate security breaches, alarms, and emergencies.
Requirements
Education Requirements:
Experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in incident response, report writing, and team supervision.
