We are seeking a skilled Pastry Chef to join our team, bringing creativity, precision, and passion to our desserts and pastries.
As our Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating exquisite desserts, pastries, and breads that exceed our guests' expectations.
You will work closely with the Head Chef to develop innovative recipes, manage our pastry section, and maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Job Responsibilities
Design and create visually stunning and uniquedesserts, pastries, and breads
Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas
Plan production to faciliate daily requirements
Supervise and coordinate all pastry and dessert preparation and presentation
Manage pastry inventory, minimize waste, and optimize resources
Train and mentor junior pastry staff members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pastry kitchenenvironment
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service.
Minimum Requirements
Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts
A minimum of 5 years of fine dining experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or Pastry Chef
Knowledge of international pastry traditions (e.g. English, French, Italian, Asian, Mexican)
Strong abilities and knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles
Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and time management skills
Ability to work under pressure and on a variety of shifts, including weekends.
