We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Officer to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, processing transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Prepare and review financial documents, reports, and statements
Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
