Job Scope
- The Finance/Accounts Manager at Felton Energy Services Limited plays a vital role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing accurate financial insights to support decision-making. They will oversee day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, tax management, and budgeting to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.
Reports To: Managing Director/CEO
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Develop and implement financial policies, systems, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure timely preparation and accurate presentation of financial statements, management reports, and performance analysis.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and cost control to support operational efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements, including proactively applying updated knowledge of current tax laws and reforms in Nigeria.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial institutions.
- Supervise and mentor the finance/accounts team to improve performance and build capacity.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic business decisions and growth initiatives.
- Drive process improvement and automation within the finance function to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial support for business projects and initiatives.

Required Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial position is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is highly desirable.
