About the job
- Map, document, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes for the commercial function
- Establish clear workflows, SOPs, and governance frameworks to improve operational efficiency and reduce redundancies.
- Track and analyze operational KPIs (sales-to-cash cycle, etc.) and recommend improvements.
- Evaluate revenue drivers and recommend strategies to optimize resource use.
- Validate and reconcile data across SAP, finance, logistics, and sales to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Leverage technology (e.g., SAP and Power BI) to automate routine monitoring and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
- Train staff on new systems, tools, and processes.
Key Performance Indicators
- Performance Analysis: Track and analyse operational KPIs (logistics efficiency, turnaround time, sales-to-cash cycle, etc.) and recommend improvements.
- Cost & Efficiency Analysis: Evaluate cost drivers across operations and recommend strategies to reduce waste and optimize resource use.
- Data Integrity & Quality Assurance: Validate and reconcile data across SAP, finance, logistics, and sales to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Process Documentation Coverage – 100% of Commercial processes documented within 12 months.
- Reporting Automation: Develop dashboards and self-service BI tools for real-time business insights.
- Compliance Score – Achieve 95% adherence to internal audit/compliance checks on documented processes.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction – Minimum 80% satisfaction rating on transparency and reporting support
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA or MSc is a plus.
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in business analysis, internal controls, or process improvement (preferably in Oil & Gas / Energy)
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred), data visualization tools, (Power BI, Tableau), and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional process documentation and business reporting skills
- Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and project management abilities
