Responsibilites
The Information Security Liaison will be responsible for the following tasks,
- Act as a contact point between the local stakeholder (for example the ITS and local Business Units) in West Africa and the Africa Information Protection Team
- Manage and conduct Information Security Risk Assessments
- Assist with internal and external audits and compliance reviews
- Assist with the management of audit remediation action plans
- Assist with the completion and co-ordination of client information security questionnaires
- Assist with the review of information security clauses of client and third-party service provider contracts
- Assist with the implementation and communication of applicable new and updated policy, standards, and procedures
- Assist with Information Security Incident Response activities
- Assist with the implementation of information security related projects and initiatives
- Act as escalation point for local information security incidents, issues and challenges.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of Second Class (Upper) division in, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related discipline from a reputable university.
- Minimum of five O’Level credits in one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in information security principles and best practices threat landscape and generally accepted good security practice and standards.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of professionalism.
- Strong skills on Microsoft Office especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Practical work experience in Information Security team, including security incident response, threat analytics, security operations, and security risk management.
Preferred relevant certifications include:
- CISM,
- CISSP
- ISO27001 Foundation.
