Job role




  • We are seeking a dynamic HR Business Partner to support our LNG operations across West Affrica/ ECOWAS countries.

  • This role ensures that corporate HR initiatives are executed locally in the region, ensuring alignment with business goals, regulatory frameworks, and cultural nuances:



Responsibilities

HR Partnership:




  • Collaborate with business leaders to align HR strategies with LNG operational goals

  • Ensure implementation of workforce planning, talent acquisition and management.



Employee Relations & Engagement:




  • Foster a positive work culture across diverse teams

  • Ensure compliance with labour laws in ECOWAS jurisdictions



Talent Acquisition & Development:




  • Support recruitment efforts for technical and non-technical roles

  • Support the implementation of training programs tailored to LNG competencies



Performance & Compensation:




  • Support performance management cycles and compensation reviews



Compliance & Governance:




  • Monitor HR policies to ensure alignment with respective labour regulations

  • Liaise with legal and compliance teams on compliance matters.



Qualifications




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields

  • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in energy or industrial sectors

  • Working knowledge of regional ECOWAS environments

  • Fluent in speaking French and English

  • Broad-based HR experience with progressive HRBP experience providing advice, counsel and coaching to senior leaders with the ability to influence and champion effective leadership and change, developing strong business partnerships to support achievement of business objectives within assigned business groups

  • Professional certification by the CIPM, SHRM, CIPD or other HR certification bodies will be required 

  • Skilled with computer applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
