Job Description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for production and operational activities.
- Monitor actual costs against budgets and report variances
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reporting processes
- Maintain cost records and ensure accuracy in cost allocations
- Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to track material costsParticipate in financial audits
- Assist with budget preparation
- Ensure compliance with Dangote Group’s financial policies and procedures
- Assist in preparing cost sheet
- Other additional assignments as entrusted by the management.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
- B.Sc. or HND in Finance/ Accounting
- 1 - 3 years’ relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance function
Skills and Competencies:
- Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS and other applicable accounting standards.
- Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, preferably SAP.
- Good data gathering, analysis and problem-solving skills
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools.
