Job Description

• We are in need of a Food Scientist who plays a vital role in the food industry by researching, developing, and improving food products and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and experiments to develop new food products, improve existing products, or enhance production processes.


• Perform quality control testing to ensure food products meet safety standards, nutritional specifications, and taste requirements.


• Stay updated with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes related to food science and technology.


• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.


• Write reports, research papers, and technical documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and product specifications


• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in laboratory work and quality control testing.

Qualifications

• B.Sc/HND in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.


• Experience in food regulations, such as FDA (Food and Drug Administration) guidelines, is preferred.


• Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting scientific experiments.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
