Job Description
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the external reporting process with NATCOM.In the immediate, work with Team to close the outstanding years with the external auditors
- Prepare management accounts and establish all processes towards migration to a new ERP
- Ensure all control accounts are reconciled and are in check. During the current review, document and recommend all significant journals to establish control
- Have oversight over revenue recognition in accordance with revenue standard, IFRS 15, and related accounting standards
- Report customers’ balances and age analysis
- Margin and Contribution Analysis
- Provide intervention to subordinates
- Act as business partner to the Sales Team and efforts affecting revenue initiative, development and control implementation
- Establish the framework to enable NATCOM comply with FRC’s guidance on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting
- Other functions assigned by the Financial Controller
Education / Professional Certification
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional Certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA or similar) is required
Experience:
- Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 3years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Experience with financial operations, treasury operations, cash management, or accounts payable/receivable functions.
- Proven experience working with and navigating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transaction processing and reporting.
- Demonstrable experience in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Experience in processing a high volume of financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Experience in the telecommunications sector or a similar fast-paced industry is an advantage
