Role Overview




  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of across all stores and the RSC office.

  • The role requires strong hands-on capability in financial reporting, payroll verification, statutory compliance, reconciliations, systems management (Tally and SAP), and coordination of multi-location finance activities.

  • The ideal candidate must be a Chartered Accountant (ICAN) with solid experience in retail, QSR, FMCG, or multi-site operations.



Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & MISL:




  • Post monthly journals and prepare accurate monthly MIS and Profit & Loss reports for all stores and the head office.

  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closing in line with internal controls and reporting timelines.

  • Prepare SAP uploaders from approved schedules and ensure accurate uploading into SAP.



Payroll & Employee Cost Management:




  • Perform monthly verification of payroll across all employee categories including expatriates, permanent staff, contract staff, and part-time employees.

  • Prepare and maintain Cost to Company (CTC) schedules for all staff categories.

  • Review exit documentation and post Full and Final (F&F) settlement entries in Tally.



Accounts Payable, Rentals & Vendor Management:




  • Post all rental and service charge bills for store locations and expatriate residences.

  • Review vendor onboarding documents and ensure completeness before creating supplier profiles in Tally.

  • Reconcile mall landlords’ accounts and manage profit-sharing arrangements where applicable.

  • Collate monthly Month-to-Date (MTD) Daily Sales Reports (DSR) for calculating Yum fees and landlord profit-sharing.



Schedules, Provisions & Reconciliations:




  • Maintain and regularly update financial schedules including rent schedules, insurance, AMC, and related commitments.

  • Prepare and update provision schedules for both head office and store operations.

  • Prepare monthly sales, consumption, and output VAT reconciliations for all stores and ensure compliance with tax regulations.



Inventory & Controls:




  • Coordinate the annual stock take exercise across all stores in collaboration with Store Finance Managers (SFM) and operations teams.

  • Strengthen financial controls to minimize leakages and ensure compliance with company policies.



Compliance & Audit:




  • Support internal and external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation as required.

  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations, tax laws, and internal financial standards.



Qualifications & Experience




  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN) is mandatory.

  • Minimum of 5–8 years relevant finance experience, preferably in QSR, retail, FMCG, or multi-location operations.

  • Strong working knowledge of Tally and SAP.

  • Proven experience in payroll management, MIS reporting, VAT reconciliation, and multi-store finance operations.
