About the job




  • Support day-to-day financial operations, including payments, receipts, petty cash, and expense management.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with company policies and reporting standards.

  • Prepare and submit periodic financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation to the head office finance team.

  • Act as a finance liaison by coordinating financial information, queries, and requests between operational teams and the central finance function.

  • Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.

  • Monitor budgets and track actual expenditure against approved limits, highlighting variances as required.

  • Support cash flow management through cash forecasts, funding requests, and treasury-related reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, approval limits, and company procedures.

  • Coordinate with vendors, banks, auditors, and internal stakeholders on finance-related matters.

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.

  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and responding to audit queries.

  • Identify and escalate financial risks, control gaps, or unusual transactions to management.

  • Assist in improving finance processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.



Requirements



Education




  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • ACA, ACCA, or CPA certification is an added advantage.



Experience




  • 1–3 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with general experience in financial operations and reporting. Strong experience with IFRS reporting, reconciliations, and financial controls.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems is highly desirable.



Knowledge & Skills




  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and IFRS.

  • Strong financial analysis, problem-solving, and modelling skills.

  • High ethical standards, confidentiality, and sound judgment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools.

  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
