Responsibilities

  • Harmonise messaging across all units to ensure farmers receive a consistent, clear narrative (e.g., linking input purchases to market access opportunities).

Administrative and Operational Support:

  • Collaborate with Comms in the design, production, and distribution of marketing materials (flyers, posters, training guides, radio scripts) tailored to specific program goals.

  • Manage the production timeline for all seasonal campaigns, ensuring materials are ready for key operational windows (e.g., enrolment and repayment deadlines, planting season).

  • Ensure all content is localised, culturally appropriate, and effectively communicates the value proposition of our diverse product offerings (inputs, trees, market access).

Field Enablement & Event Support:

  • Equip field teams with the "marketing toolkit" they need to succeed, including pitch scripts, FAQs, and visual aids for community meetings.

  • Coordinate and execute field-based marketing events, such as roadshows, product/farm demonstrations, and town hall meetings, to enhance community engagement.

  • Train field staff and supervisors on how to effectively deliver key marketing messages to farmers.

Market Intelligence & Feedback:

  • Conduct rapid market research to understand farmer preferences, barriers to adoption, and satisfaction with our products and services.

  • Track and review the performance of past marketing campaigns

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns (e.g., tracking conversion rates from engagements, measuring awareness levels).

Team and Stakeholder Support:

  • Serve as the program’s marketing data liaison and technical lead for marketing reporting.

  • Build team capacity by training staff in quality marketing, utilising marketing tools, and implementing marketing strategies.

  • Support program units with marketing performance insights and course correction interventions.
