Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering an excellent in-store customer experience while achieving individual and store sales targets. The role involves product presentation, customer engagement, transaction processing, and maintaining a clean and well-organized retail environment.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement:
- Greet and respond to customer inquiries and complaints via phone, walk-in and chats (all social media platforms) with professionalism and courtesy.
- Recommend and upsell products in line with customer preferences and store promotions.
- Meet or exceed assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Handle customer objections and complaints politely, escalating when necessary.
Store Operations:
- Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with brand guidelines.
- Ensure products are well-stocked, properly tagged, and attractively displayed.
- Assist with stock counts, replenishment, and inventory control.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/card payments.
Customer Experience & Retention:
- Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Collect customer feedback and communicate insights to management.
- Support loyalty programs, promotions, and in-store activations.
Compliance & Teamwork
- Adhere to company policies, sales procedures, and loss prevention guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve overall store goals.
- Maintain punctuality, grooming standards, and professional conduct at all times.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced sales environment.
- Confidence in speaking with potential customers and handling objections.
- Goal-oriented with a strong drive to succeed.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software is a plus.
- Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
