Job Summary




  • The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and building strong customer relationships.

  • The role involves understanding client needs, recommending appropriate IT solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving assigned sales targets.



Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development




  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities.

  • Develop and onboard new client accounts within target industries.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and clients.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue performance.



Solution Development & Proposal Management:




  • Understand client business needs and recommend suitable IT solutions.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions for clients.

  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.



Contracting & Negotiation:




  • Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.

  • Address client concerns and escalate technical issues when necessary.



Reporting & Market Intelligence:




  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.

  • Prepare and submit sales performance reports to management.

  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

  • Provide feedback on customer needs, market demands, and product improvements.



Educational Qualification & Experience




  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in a relevant field.

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with relevant IT certifications.

  • Minimum: 5 years of relevant experience in sales or account management.



Required Competencies / Knowledge:




  • Knowledge of IT Products & Services Knowledge (Understanding of the company’s technology solutions) - Industry & Market Knowledge.

  • Sales & Account Management Knowledge (Sales cycle and pipeline management, B2C sales strategies, Key account management principles, Customer relationship Management.

  • Basic financial knowledge, including pricing models, profit margins, and contract negotiation.

  • Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, client industries and business challenges.

  • Customer relationship management.
