Job Summary
- The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and building strong customer relationships.
- The role involves understanding client needs, recommending appropriate IT solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
- Develop and onboard new client accounts within target industries.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue performance.
Solution Development & Proposal Management:
- Understand client business needs and recommend suitable IT solutions.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions for clients.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and presentations.
Contracting & Negotiation:
- Negotiate and close sales contracts with clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Address client concerns and escalate technical issues when necessary.
Reporting & Market Intelligence:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
- Prepare and submit sales performance reports to management.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, market demands, and product improvements.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with relevant IT certifications.
- Minimum: 5 years of relevant experience in sales or account management.
Required Competencies / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of IT Products & Services Knowledge (Understanding of the company’s technology solutions) - Industry & Market Knowledge.
- Sales & Account Management Knowledge (Sales cycle and pipeline management, B2C sales strategies, Key account management principles, Customer relationship Management.
- Basic financial knowledge, including pricing models, profit margins, and contract negotiation.
- Understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, client industries and business challenges.
