Inventory Management
- Maintaining adequate inventory levels, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring timely replenishment.
Receiving and Issuing Goods
- Receiving deliveries, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and issuing supplies as needed.
Record Keeping
- Maintaining accurate records of receipts, withdrawals, and stock movements.
Stock Control
- Implementing effective inventory systems, conducting stock-taking, and reconciling physical stock with inventory records.
Order Fulfillment
- Fulfilling requisition orders, ensuring on-time delivery of materials, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
Store Operations
- Maintaining a clean and organized storage area, adhering to hygiene regulations, and ensuring safety practices are followed.
Reporting
- Preparing periodic store reports, identifying obsolete or redundant items, and reporting losses or irregularities to management.
- Maintain accurate logs of issued parts, repair history, and tool usage to prevent loss or misuse.
Requirements:
- B.Sc/HND/OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field is typically required.
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or inventory management, and experience in maintenance or industrial store operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Ability to manage complex inventory systems and multiple maintenance projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to correctly identify required spare parts.
- Experience in managing maintenance budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities for parts
- Control systems and manufacturing domain.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in computer inventory systems (e.g., SAP, MS Excel), good communication skills, and knowledge of safety regulations. Ability to uase SAP.
