The Heavy Duty Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of the company’s fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and trailers.
The primary goal is to ensure maximum fleet availability, safety, and reliability while minimizing downtime.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver capable of diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in modern trucks and trailers.
Qualifications
Trade Test Certificate / Diploma in Heavy Duty Vehicle Mechanics or related field (NVQ or City & Guilds equivalent preferred).
3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic, specifically working with articulated trucks, rigid trucks, and trailers.
